FAQ
Do I need to have my own mat/ equipment for online classes?
No. If you have a mat, band or ball they are great to have to hand, but all I teach will be accessible with or without equipment. It would only be important that you have something a little soft underneath you (i.e. carpet or a rug). We get creative with books, tights, robe belts and tins of food!
What do I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in - has some stretch/ give to it. Nothing with buttons or zippers. It is important that you are warm, so good to have layers on standby.
What if this is my first class?
No need to worry at all! The most important thing is you take your time. All exercises will be broken down for learning, and it doesn't matter if you don't get something the first time. The most important thing is that you listen to you body and ask questions if you have any.
What if I have an injury or condition I am working with?
Please include this information in your first contact with me and we discuss whether doing these classes would be appropriate for you. If they aren't, I'll do my very best to connect you with a teacher who may be suitable for your needs.
What if I am pregnant or have recently given birth?
Please note - these classes are not appropriate for those who are pregnant or who have recently given birth, however I would be happy to recommend pre & post natal Pilates teacher to you.
